Supported blockchains
ElizaOS supports several blockchains so you’re not locked into one network anymore. According to the migration portal you can choose your preferred chain: Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain are now supported.
That means when you swap ai16z to elizaos in hardware wallet manually, you have flexibility: once you get the ELIZAOS tokens you can bridge or move them across these supported chains.

1. Prepare your hardware/ software wallet
Make sure your hardware wallet (e.g., a Ledger, Tangem, Trezor, metamask, trustwallet ) is set up properly and you have access to the wallet interface. Ensure your AI16Z token is in the wallet and visible in the correct network.
Important: Do not share your wallet seed phrase or private keys with anyone. Keep them secure at all times.
2. Visit the official migration portal
Go to the official migration site of ElizaOS: https://migrate.elizafoundation.ai. This is the recognised page to convert AI16Z tokens to ELIZAOS.
Make sure you verify you are on the genuine site (check URL, SSL certificate, etc.) before proceeding.
3. Connect your wallet
On the portal you’ll need to connect your wallet that holds the AI16Z tokens. Follow the on screen prompts to allow the wallet interface to connect.
Reminder: Never share your secret keys or seed phrase during this process. The portal will never ask for your seed phrase. If someone asks for it, it is a scam.
4. Configure the migration
Once connected, select how many AI16Z tokens you want to migrate. The swap ratio is 1 AI16Z = 6 ELIZAOS.
Choose which chain you want to receive your ELIZAOS tokens on (e.g., Solana, Base, Ethereum or BNB Chain) in the official migration interface.
5. Approve and complete the swap
After configuration, approve the transaction in your wallet. Confirm the contract call, gas fees etc (depending on the chain you pick). The portal will burn (retire) your AI16Z tokens and issue ELIZAOS tokens to your wallet at the chosen chain.
Once done, check your wallet for the correct number of ELIZAOS tokens (6x your AI16Z amount).
Again: Never submit your wallet seed phrase or private key at any point.
6. Add the ELIZAOS token contract to your wallet (if needed)
If you don’t yet see ELIZAOS in your wallet’s token list, add the new token contract for the chain you selected so you can view your balance properly.
7. Use or move your new tokens
After receiving ELIZAOS, you can hold, trade or bridge them across supported chains if you want. Because ElizaOS supports multiple blockchains you have more flexibility.
Deadline to migrate
There is a migration deadline you need to be aware of. Many exchanges and platforms supporting this swap have set cut-off dates. In exchanges AI16Z were suspended in early November 2025.
Therefore if you are doing a manual swap from a hardware wallet you should act before the migration portal or project closes the swap window. Current deadline for manual swap is Feb 5 2026
Missing the deadline could mean your AI16Z tokens become deprecated or unsupported.
